Features: Bright crimson-red foliage emerges in Spring and holds its color well thru the season turning to a brilliant scarlet in Fall! Prefers well-drained soil. Perhaps the most popular of all laceleaf maples.
Companions: Underplant with Blue Rug Junipers, Ivy, Dwarf Mondo Grass, trailing Sedums, Creeping Thyme, Creeping Jenny, Creeping Fig, or other matt-forming perennials. Combines nicely with Soft Touch Holly, Junipers, Creeping Yew, Ornamental Grasses, Dwarf Gardenias, Dwarf Spireas, Daylilies, and more.
